The above image is self explanatory as to what image means what; but you can also hover your mouse over the icon on search page to see its description.

These notifications are also highlighted inside the invoice.

1) Out Of Stock Warning:

Invoice search page:   A little yellow box with red dot (see picture 1 on top)
Inside invoice:              Yellow notification bar on top

If one or more products on an order is at less than ‘zero’  stock and if this is still an ‘order type’, which typically means not yet dispatched.  This will warning will display both on invoice search page and inside the invoice as well.   This will help OMINS users to effectively handle such issues in the least possible time.  See the image below:

2) Rural  postcode

Invoice search page:   A little truck with yellow small triangle (see picture 1 on top)
Inside invoice:             Light blue info bar on top

this notification will show you if an invoice / order is using a rural postcode or not.

We have loaded the list of rural postcodes in OMINS.  We have taken this from the NZpost postcode directory:

http://www.nzpost.co.nz/sending-within-nz/how-to-address-mail/postcodes/postcode-directory

OMINS checks each postcode and if the postcode is rural it will give notification.

Inside the invoice:  You can see instantly if a postcode is rural or not when updating the postcode field. (see below)

After you save an invoice:  There will be a small notice at the top telling you if the invoice is having rural postcode.  (see below)

Limitations:

1. The buyer must give a postcode, however, this happens 10% of the times where customer does not provide postcode.

2. The user must give the correct postcode, which they may not, for whatever reason.

3. Each Courier company have its own definition of “rural”.  A postcode may not be a rural postcode according to NZPost, however, another courier company may still charge you a rural fee.  (However the NZPost list is usually a good estimation for most courier companies).

3) P.O. box  notification.

Invoice search page:   A little blue envelop icon with yellow small triangle (see picture 1 on top)
Inside invoice:              Light blue info bar on top

Invoices having P.O. Box postcode will display this notification.  Some sellers don’t ship to P.O. Boxes, and with this new notification of such invoices which are having p.o. box  postcode a lot of time will be saved.  We can see the invoice and send an email to customer requiring their actual address rather than coming to know later by courier company that it’s a p.o. box and then informing the customer.  It is time saving and useful for effective customer support.

Limitations:

1. The buyer must give a postcode, however, this happens 10% of the times where customer does not provide postcode.

2. The user must give the correct postcode, which they may not, for whatever reason.
